We’re hop hop hopping right up to Easter this weekend and that means a certain bunny is gonna be making an appearance. To celebrate, you can make your own simple, Easter Bunny (or, as DM Creative School calls it, an Easter Hare) craft using just a few items.

Join us as we use our imaginations to create a delightful little bunny for the Easter season.

  • Cardboard rolls (you’ll need one to cut up)

  • Glue gun

Step 1

Flatten out one of the cardboard rolls and cut two strips off one end. The strips should be about a quarter of an inch. These will be the bunny ears.

Step 4

After it dries, glue the googly eyes to your painted roll.

Step 5

Draw a bunny nose and mouth on your roll below the eyes. A triangle makes a good nose and a line with two curved ends (like a J and a backwards J together) makes a great bunny mouth. Don’t forget the whiskers and teeth!

Step 6

Paint the bunny’s teeth white.

Step 7

Glue the bunny ears together at one end.

Step 8

Glue the bunny ears to the inside of the cardboard roll by putting two lines of glue on opposite sides of the roll and inserting the bunny ears into the roll.

Once all the glue dries, your Easter Bunny is done!

If you want, you can make legs for it and even glue a cotton ball on the back to give it a tail. And then, you can get your Click-A-Bricks and build some Easter things with them.
