Click-A-Brick, a building toy company that has been around since 2014, is gearing up to launch its latest science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) learning set: Carnivores. The new set will contain 100 bricks and its theme will be carnivorous dinosaurs. This will be the first new set from the toy brand in two years.
Set to launch next week, Carnivores will be available for sale on Click-A-Brick’s Amazon page and, eventually, its website. With Carnivores, kids ages five and up will receive illustrated instructions to construct five different types of meat eating dinosaurs.
Having such a long gap between the release of new sets makes the release of this one seem extra special, Click-A-Brick founder and owner Georg de Gorostiza says.
“We were concentrating on building our fan base with the twelve sets we had and now that we’ve done that, we wanted to make a splash with our new set,” de Gorostiza said. “What better way to do that than with a big set full of big dinosaurs? We’re looking at 2018 to be a big growth year at Click-A-Brick. STEM toys are selling well, parents are starting to gravitate toward non-screen toys for their kids as the experts keep recommending it and dinosaurs are back with the Jurassic Park franchise having been rebooted. This was the perfect time to launch a new, dinosaur-themed set.”
Along with Carnivores, Click-A-Brick is planning to announce a special deal that will get even more of the educational STEM toys into the hands of children to help with their cognitive development along with development of creativity and fine motor skills.
Carnivores comes with an illustrated, full-color instruction sheet that shows children how to create five different dinosaurs:
- Tyrannosaurus Rex
- Spinosaurus
- Mosasaur
- Pterodactyl
- Velociraptor
The latest offering will contain bricks of red, white, yellow and gray. De Gorostiza says the company opted for a mainly red color scheme because the striking red and yellow bricks make the carnivorous dinosaurs look fierce and will keep the attention of children.
The new set will be ideal for parents to teach their kids about how dinosaurs lived, the founder and owner points out. It is the hope of Click-A-Brick that parents will be inspired to play with their kids by building with them and playing with the creations after they are built, which Click-A-Brick’s are sturdy enough to do. Carnivores, the newest 100-piece set from Click-A-Brick, will be released next week.
