Bring Back Recess! It's Good for Kids!

We've got terrible news: kids are getting way less recess than they used to.

Why is this a bad thing? This video explains it all:

As you can see, recess is an integral part of learning for a child. It's not all structured classes and scheduled learning. Kids need to be free to play, use their imaginations and run wild in order to develop. 

Sometimes as adults, we want to push our kids so they will be successful. We put them in all kinds of extra curricular activities in addition to school and we sometimes think we need to fill their free time with structured learning environments. 

But, we don't. 

Children need that ability to play freely just like they need classes. Sometimes, you just need to take them outside somewhere and let their imaginations (and them) run wild or just give them the building blocks and let them build whatever they want.

We say: bring back recess because it's important!
