You know what’s amazing? When you can combine two things that you love to make one even better thing. Peanut butter and chocolate, for example. On their own? Great. Together? Spectacular!
Or, how about cake and ice cream? Fries and ketchup? Chips and dip?
Is anyone else here getting hungry?
Anyway, the point is putting two things together can create something incredible and in this post we’re going to combine two things to create something that will make everyone at your next birthday party go “wow!”
We’re going to combine building blocks with crayons and make building blayons! … Okay, the name could use some work, but it’s totally fun and easy.
Check it out:
What you’ll need:
- A bunch of wax crayons
- A knife or something else for cutting
- Two building block baking molds
- An oven
Step 1
Cut the paper coverings off of a bunch of crayons.
Step 2
Break each crayon into three separate pieces or more.
Step 3
Fill a building block baking mold with the broken pieces of crayon.
You can combine whatever colors you like, but it’s best to keep similar colors together. You can also make one solid color if you like.
Step 4
Bake in the oven at 250 F for 15 - 20 minutes.
Step 5
Put another building block mold on top of the baked mold while the wax is still warm.
Push it down until it is snug in the warm wax.
Step 6
Let the wax cool completely.
Step 7
Extract the building block crayons.
Step 8
Color!
You see? Combining two different great things to create one stupendous thing is so much fun. Now, go and combine your Click-A-Bricks together and see what you can come up with.
