Educational Learning Toy Company Click-A-Brick Congratulates TIF For Reaching 300,000 Kids

The team behind educational learning toy retailer Click-A-Brick says the Mid-Year Impact Report from the Toy Industry Foundation (TIF) brings a smile to their collective faces and they congratulate the charitable organization for helping nearly 300,000 children in need by providing them with toys and services.

This year, according to the recently-released report, the TIF and its national partners have helped more than 7,000 children living on U.S. military bases through its partnerships with Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) Military Services and 64,000 children in foster care through its partnership with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children.

In addition to that, the report says the TIF has provided CASA with funding to recruit and train one-on-one advocates for kids in the family court system and provided toys to 50 children’s charities in partnership with KIDS/Fashion Delivers, including the charities: Princess for a Lifetime, Children of Promise and the Kids in Need Foundation.

“Generous toy companies of all sizes have donated product this year,” Jean Butler, executive director of the TIF, said in a news release. “Whether they have given 100 toys or 250,000 toys, these companies have demonstrated tremendous empathy and caring for kids living through unimaginably difficult circumstances. This program wouldn’t be possible without them!”

The TIF has a goal to reach five million children by the end of this year and is currently holding its Summer Toy Drive to solicit donations.

Co-Founders of educational learning toy company Click-A-Brick Jason Smith and Georg de Gorostiza say they love to see stories like the TIF’s Mid-Year Impact Report and congratulate the organization on helping so many children in need.

“The Toy Industry Foundation does so much for kids in need and we’re happy to see them continuing to do that this year,” Smith said. “Helping 300,000 children is an amazing feat. We’re glad to see the Foundation also has lofty goals like trying to reach 5 million kids by the end of the year. Regardless of whether they reach that goal or not, they’ve already done a lot to enrich the lives of hundreds of thousands of kids and they should be extremely proud of that. We applaud the Foundation’s efforts to help children in need and we hope they can reach their goal for this year.”

Click-A-Brick has recently gone into giving mode by introducing bulk pricing for several educational facilities including schools, daycares and learning centers wanting to stock affordable educational learning toys for their facilities. In addition to providing special bulk pricing, the company also donated sets to the facilities.
